NovaxAILab starts with Sierra Leonean Krio and extends outward to related and neighbouring African languages as data and evaluation allow.

Sierra Leonean Krio — the country's common language. Released ASR and TTS models, an ongoing speech and text data programme, and translation research.

On the roadmap

Work planned as the Krio foundation matures: Mende, Temne, Limba, Fula, Susu, Other West African English-lexifier creoles.
